Internet Activities
In a survey of 935 kids ages 12 to 17, about 90% said they use the Internet. Most described it as a place to share their creativity and interact with others. Above all, teens enjoy keeping up with TV shows, films, music and sports. Here's how 12- to 17-year-olds spend their time online.
1. Visiting entertainment and sports sites 81%
2. Getting news and current events 77%
3. Exchanging instant messages 68%
4. Watching video-sharing sites 57%
5. Using networking sites 55%
