He's Carrying the Ball
There's no doubt about it, last week Jared Doutt, 10, was pumped up for Super Bowl XLII. The fifth grader from Erie, Pennsylvania, was chosen to run onto the field and deliver the game ball. Jared is one of 50,000 kids in the National Football League's Play 60 Challenge, a contest that teaches kids about childhood obesity. Jared planned to cheer for the New York Giants. "I always root for the underdog," he told TFK.
