Bubbling to the Top
On January 28, Bubble Wrap crowned Hannah Haas, 13, its new queen of pop! The North Carolina teen won $10,000 and top honors in a contest that challenged kids to invent new uses for the air-filled plastic packing material. Hannah's Sensory Wallpaper is designed to engage children with autism, a disorder that affects communication skills. As kids touch the wallpaper, its texture helps to calm them. Will winning inspire Hannah to think outside the bubble? "I won't look at Bubble Wrap the same way again," she says.
