Most Common Food Allergies
More than 12 million Americans have food allergies. The biggest offender: shellfish, including shrimp and crab. People are most often allergic to these foods.

(2) Peanuts 1.8 million (tie)
(3) Tree nuts 1.8 million (tie)
(4) Fish 1.2 million
(5) Milk 900,000
