Just One of the Guys
Football kicker Ashley Martin scored points on and off the field last week. Martin, 20, is the first woman to play in a Division I football game—the highest level of college football. Breaking records is nothing new for Martin, a student at Jacksonville State in Alabama. She played football in high school, where she was also homecoming queen. Still, Martin's father got a kick out of watching her score. Said the proud pop: "I almost teared up at the end."Next: Goodbye, Neighbor!
