Up Above the Sky So High

More than 700 giant balloons soared above Albuquerque, New Mexico, last month at the Kodak Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Flags were a popular decoration for the 30th anniversary of the gathering.
Balloonists from 17 countries participated in this year's event. The mountains and shifting winds near Albuquerque allow the balloons to take off, float around and land in almost the same spot!
