Spotlight: Chaille Stovall
Chaille Stovall, 12, found politics boringuntil he wrote and directed Party Animals, a film about the 2000 presidential election. Chaille (Shall-y) attended the Republican and Democratic National Conventionsand even interviewed George W. Bush! Chaille hopes his film will get kids to tune in to politics, which he believes is "a lot more interesting than they say." The film airs this month on HBO's Family Channel. (HBO Family is part of the company that owns TFK.)
Chaille now has his sights set on the big screen. His slated to direct a film called Camp Grizzly. That would make him Hollywood's youngest feature-film director!
