These Bears Are Seeing Green!
These polar bears live in a zoo in Japan. The white bears turned green after splashing in a pond full of algae (al-jee). Algae are tiny plants that live in water. Some stuck to the bears' fur. It does not harm them.
The bears won't be green forever. Zoo officials say that the algae growth should slow down by November. Then the bears' true colors will show.
