Spotlight: Tom Brady

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is having a ball! On February 3, after his team won the Super Bowl, Brady was named Most Valuable Player. Since then, Brady has traveled to Disney World for a quick celebration and to Boston, Massachusetts, for a victory parade. Then it was off to Honolulu, Hawaii, for the Pro Bowl game on February 9.

Brady, 24, is the youngest quarterback ever to win a Super Bowl. The Patriots beat the St. Louis Rams 20-17. The California native spent his first year with the Patriots on the bench. In September, he took over for injured starting quarterback Drew Bledsoe. The move was supposed to be temporary—until Brady helped turn the Patriots?losing streak into a victory run. "It's been an incredible year," said Brady. "That's why you keep playing hard and keep working hard." Spoken like a true champ!
