A Record-Breaking Run

Meet the world's fastest marathon man. Last week, Khalid Khannouchi, 30, set a new world record in the 26.2 mile event. He ran the London Marathon in England in 2 hours, 5 minutes and 38 seconds. That's about 13 miles an hour! A U.S. citizen, Khannouchi was born in Morocco, where he trained with, and often beat, top runners. "I knew I was going to be somebody," he says. Whose world record did he beat last week? His own, set in 1999. He smashed it by 4 seconds.
