A Far-Out Vacation
Last Thursday, South African millionaire Mark Shuttleworth became the second tourist to travel to the International Space Station. Shuttleworth, 28, paid the Russian space program about $20 million for his 10-day mission. Shuttleworth trained for eight months, including a week at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. Before the launch, he said he felt "a mixture of excitement, anticipation, sadness that the training is over and disbelief." Lining up to become the next tourist to visit the space station: 'N Sync singer Lance Bass.
