Rescue at Sea
It's been a ruff month for a dog named Forgea. The terrier was rescued last week after spending 24 days alone at sea. She was accidentally left behind on an oil tanker when the ship caught on fire. "This is the perfect happy ending," said Pamela Burns of the Hawaiian Humane Society, which spent nearly $50,000 on the rescue. The Iams company has promised Forgea a lifetime supply of dog chow.
