Top 5 States with the Most Hispanics
Hispanic Heritage Month begins on September 15, which marks the date that five Latin American countries gained independence: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. There are more than 30 million Hispanic people living in the U.S. Eight out of 10 live in these five states.
