If the Slipper Fits . . .
Brittany Clifford,12, wants kids to feel warm and fuzzy from head to toe. So she created the Fuzzy Feet Foundation. Fuzzy Feet gives comfy, colorful slippers shaped like animals, bugs and other fun objects to kids in hospitals, homeless shelters and group homes. Brittany got the idea after visiting a pal in the hospital. "Kids wore paper things on their feet," says Brittany, "which didn't keep them warm at all." She asked shoe stores for donations. A few now foot the bill. Since February, Brittany has distributed 1,000 pairs to kids in Arizona, where she lives, and in California.
