Now that's a great pumpkin! New Hampshire farmer Charlie Houghton squashed the competition at the All New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off on October 5. Houghton's 1,337.6-pounder also set a new world record for the heaviest pumpkin! Kathy Houghton accepted the $5,000 prize for her husband, who heard the big news—and applause—by phone.
