Spotlight: Grant Paulsen

Grant Paulsen has been a sports fan since he was 2. Now, at 14, he is living his dream. "Ever since you start watching football as a little kid, the Super Bowl is something you want to be a part of," Grant told TFK. For most fans, that means watching it on television. But on January 26, Grant will be at the big game, reporting live for ABC-TV.

Grant has years of practice, so he shouldn't have any pregame jitters. The young sportscaster first appeared on TV when he was 10 and was soon hosting his own radio show. Today, Grant writes a weekly sports column for a newspaper near his King George, Virginia, home. He has covered the Super Bowl once before and says, "The electricity in the stadium is astonishing!"
