Siblings Swoosh into History

Her birthday wish came true! On January 5, Croatian skier JANICA KOSTELIC turned 21 and won a slalom race (a fast trek down a zigzag course) at the World Cup in Bormio, Italy. Her brother IVICA, 23, also won a World Cup slalom race in Slovenia less than an hour after Janica's victory! The Kostelics are the first siblings ever to win World Cup skiing races on the same day. "He couldn't have given me a better present," said Janica after watching Ivica's victory on live TV.
