A Cute, Little Bloodsucker!
You won't find this bat in your attic. It is a rare white-winged vampire bat, the first to be born in captivity in the U.S. Its baby pictures were just released. The bat was born three months after U.S. researchers rescued its mom and nine other bats from Trinidad. They live at a New Mexico research center, where they (gulp) feed on the blood of live chickens!
