Casting a New Wizard
There's a new wiz in town! On February 21, Warner Brothers said that acclaimed British actor MICHAEL GAMBON will play Professor Albus Dumbledore, headmaster of Hogwarts, in the next Harry Potter film. Gambon, 62, replaces the late Richard Harris, who played Dumbledore in the first two movies. Harris died in October. The search for a new headmaster was as tightly guarded as the Chamber of Secrets. Gambon is now at work on the set of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
