Spotlight
Trained as a jazz musician, singer NORAH JONES never expected to become pop music's new princess. But on February 23, Jones won five Grammys, including Best New Artist. Her first CD, Come Away with Me, was named Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Female Pop Vocal Album. Her song "Don't Know Why" was named Record of the Year.
The 23-year-old newcomer released her debut disc in February 2002. Since then, it has sold more than 6 million copies worldwide. Still, getting so many awards was a surprise. Jones told TFK Kid Reporter Jillian Klueber that by the fifth award, she was thinking, "What the heck is happening?" See Jillian's backstage report: timeforkids.com/gram
