This Little Piggy Got Kissed!
Principal Donald Watson of Tobin Elementary in Cambridge, Massachusetts, isn't particularly proud of puckering up to a pig. But last week, he kissed Daisy, a potbellied porker.
On January 15, Watson agreed to kiss a pig if his 400 students read 2,003 books by March 3, Read Across America Day. The students, in kindergarten through grade 8, went hog wild. They tracked their progress on a "pig-o-meter."
On March 3, Watson faced the music. He kissed Daisy several times on the snout in the school auditorium!
