Hubble Hits a Milestone

Happy birthday, Hubble Space Telescope!
Earth's 12.5-ton eye in the sky has been on the job for 10 years as of April 24. From its orbit above Earth's atmosphere, it has shown us galaxies colliding, stars being born and faraway solar systems. The latest Hubble photo, may look like a giant eyeball, but it's really a dying star. Thousands of years ago, the sunlike star at the center ejected the cloud of gas that surrounds it now.
