Pigs with a Purpose
Albert Walsh, 17, was frustrated by all the leftover cafeteria food at his school in California. "We were wasting up to $25,000 worth each year," says Albert. In January he enlisted three pigs, Moe, Larry and Curly, to live at the Webb Schools and scarf down leftovers instead of sending them to crowded landfills. The pigs eat 12 pounds of food every day. So far, each one has put on 85 pounds. What hogs!
