The Dalai Lama Visits the U.S.
The DALAI LAMA is not a rock star. But he sure does attract rock-star-size crowds! The Tibetan Buddhist spiritual leader is visiting the U.S. this month. He packs arenas in every city he visits. Since starting a five-city tour, the Dalai Lama has met with President Bush, members of Congress and many other Americans. On September 17, he gave one of several speeches in New York City. His message: People should search for the "source of happy life within (themselves)."
