Dear TFK...
I know what it's like to be the new kid at school ("Make Room for the New Kids," 9/19). I have been to five different schools, and so far, I have been lucky, because I've made new friends in every school. This is my third year at my school, and I am the buddy of a new student. I hope that by the end of the year, he will have as many friends as I do.
--Kolu B., 11 Hawaii
Being a new kid can really be hard. I moved when I was in first grade. Now, I have a lot of good friends. I think the older you get, the harder it is to move away.
--Hannah J., 10 Tennessee
The oldest chocolate in the world comes from the place I would least expect, Honduras ("A Taste of History," 9/19). Good to know! My first guess would have been Switzerland, because of the famous Swiss chocolates.
--William M., 10 Texas
It's okay for a dog or a cat to get a treat every once in a while, but they need to invent a low-fat dog food or cat food ("Pets Put on the Pounds," 9/19). I have a dog, and we keep her in good shape by playing games with her around the house. It helps.
