Dear TFK...
That was quite a storm ["Isabel Comes Storming In!" 9/26]! I'm
glad that scientists were able to improve storm tracking before
Isabel hit. But I am surprised that Hurricane Hunters have to fly
into a wild, windy storm in order to measure it.

You made a mistake last week [Top 5 Hurricane States, 9/26]. You
said that 166 hurricanes hit, but the numbers add up to 164.
--Lori S., 8
California
You are correct! Louisiana was hit by 27 hurricanes rather than
25. Thanks for catching that.

The WUSA should continue to play ["A Loss for Women's Soccer," 9/26]. After all, soccer is the most popular sport in the world.
It was great for women, because there aren't many women's sports
leagues out there. I play soccer, and my teammates and I need
role models to look up to.

I can't even imagine a guinea pig that weighs 1,500 pounds ["An
Overgrown Guinea Pig," 9/26]. I sure am glad they're extinct, or
I would never go outside!
