What a World Series it was! Led by ace pitcher JOSH BECKETT, the Florida Marlins beat the New York Yankees in game 6 on October 25 to become baseball's 2003 champs. Beckett, 23, was named the most valuable player of the Series. Al-though he was one of the youngest World Series pitchers ever, Beckett wasn't nervous. "You always want to be the guy to take the ball in the last game," he said.
