Losing His Voice-on Purpose
Brett Banfe wants to make a statement-without saying a word. On August 31, Brett stopped talking, then he went to college. His goal: to become a better listener by staying silent for one year. Brett can laugh, cough, sneeze and send e-mail. He will post a journal at www.notspeaking.com "You can’t worry about what others think," a pre-silent Brett said. "Set a goal and stick to it."
