Attached To Her Strings
Her violin is antique, her music classical and her style mature. But musician Hilary Hahn is no old lady. She's only 19!
"I like playing for people and seeing their reactions," says the Maryland resident, who began playing at age 3. These days the young classical-music star is on tour, promoting her latest CD and writing all about it in "Hilary's Journal" at www.sonyclassical.com. In May she'll set aside her bow long enough to pick up her college diploma. Then, back to Beethoven!
