The Greatest One Ever
In 20 seasons, hockey pro Wayne Gretzky, 38, skated his way to 61 league records. But No. 99 has smacked his last slap shot. Last Friday, Gretzky announced his retirement. By then, the 18-time All-Star was hockey's all-time leading scorer with 2,856 total points. "Everything I have in my life, I owe to hockey," said the nine-time Most Valuable Player. He has truly earned his nickname: "the Great One."
