Pelswick, 13, is your average, fun-loving cartoon kid. But as the star of a new Nickelodeon show, Pelswick makes history. He is the first physically disabled cartoon character with his own TV series. Cartoonist John Callahan says he got the idea after answering kids’ questions about being in a wheelchair himself: "This show takes away the mystery." Or, as Pelswick’s friend Ace tells him, "I don’t even see the wheelchair anymore." Pelswick rolls onto the scene October 24.
