The Benefits Of Sleep
Tired of puzzling over a problem? Sleep on it! German scientists released a study last week that shows why a good night's sleep really is important. They found that people who sleep for at least eight hours each night are better at solving problems and thinking creatively.
The scientists divided people into groups. The group that got eight hours of sleep was more than twice as likely to find a shortcut for solving a math problem than the group that had stayed awake all night. There were 106 people in the study.
Experts say the results are big news for kids who should be getting more sleep. Maybe now you can make your dream of doing better in school come true!
