Dear TFK...
I think John Kerry is the most qualified to be the Democrats'
nominee for President ["Running Strong," 2/6]. He served in the
Army, and his speeches and interviews are about real issues that
we care about, like health care.
--RAEESAH K., 11
New York
My favorite article was about the famous author Gary Paulsen ["An
Author's Adventures," 2/6]. I, too, have been blessed with a
wonderful librarian. She has encouraged me to read, and she has
shared her love of books with me. I have become a better reader
and writer because of her.
--SARAH B., 9
Texas
I don't see what all the fuss is about with Spirit and
Opportunity ["Opportunity Rocks!" 2/6]. They only move two inches
per second! If we want to explore the whole planet, it will take
a long, long time with a machine that moves so slowly.
--JUSTIN B., 10
Wisconsin
Corrections: A map in the In the News article "The Democrats Go
On ..." [2/13] shows Michigan's Upper Peninsula in the wrong
color. It should have been red. Also, in "Muslims' Holy Trip" [2/6], we mistakenly refer to the Kaaba as being in Medina. It is
in Mecca. We regret the errors.
