This Dog Is For The Cats
A 10-year-old pet named Ginny had plenty to purr about after winning the Cat of the Year award at a cat show last month. But there's one problem: Ginny can't purr. She's a dog!
Judges at the cat show in White Plains, New York, gave Ginny the award because of her kindness to cats. Ginny likes cats so much that she finds stray ones and brings them home. Says her owner, Philip Gonzalez: "The cats come right to her bowl, and she lets them. But not dogs--they can't get within five feet."
