Winner's Circle: Ken Blackburn

Ken Blackburn, 35, is floating on air! He just broke the world record for keeping a paper airplane flying! The aerospace engineer first set the record in 1983, and held it until 1996, when two Englishmen's paper plane flew for 20.9 seconds. On October 8, the St. Louis, Missouri, resident blew away that record. A square paper plane he designed sailed for 27.6 seconds at Atlanta's Georgia Dome. "I help design jet fighters," he says, "but I still am fascinated to watch a sheet of paper fly!"
