It's The Queen Of The World!
It would make the Titanic look like a tugboat! On September 24, the world's largest and most expensive cruise ship, the Grand Princess, docked in New York Harbor. At 201 feet tall, the ship towers over the 151-foot Statue of Liberty. With a length of 951 feet, the ship is longer than three football fields.
Princess Cruises spent $450 million building the 109,000-ton ship. The brand-new Princess has the first virtual-reality center and the first wedding chapel for a cruise ship. After its grand entrance, the ship left for Florida last week to begin cruising the Caribbean.
