An Actor On The Move
Michal Suchanek (Soo-ka-nek), 11, made a long journey to Hollywood. He grew up in what was Czechoslovakia (Check-o-slo-vah-kee-a) before moving to Vancouver, Canada, where he began an acting career. "It was hard at first because I didn't know any English," he says. "But living here is better. You can achieve more!" In the abc-tv movie Noah, he plays a boy who helps his dad build a modern-day ark. Michal worked with monkeys and a black-bear cub. Says he: "I love animals, especially dogs!" Noah sets sail on October 11.
