Monopoly Fans, Pick A New Piece
What's your favorite Monopoly token? Maybe it's the old shoe or tiny cannon. Soon players will be scooting a new piece around the board as they pass GO and collect $200. For the first time in more than 40 years, the makers of Monopoly are adding a new token to the game.
When Monopoly was created in 1935, the game came with four small wooden pieces. But they were soon replaced by metal miniatures of household objects such as the iron and thimble.
Now Hasbro is asking players' help in deciding on a new token. Voters have three choices: a biplane, a piggybank or a sack of money.
