Winner's Circle: Robin Licht
Just 15 days were left before the National Children's Film Festival deadline. "We were desperate for ideas," says Robin Licht, 11, of Indianapolis, Indiana. Then she and her team found inspiration in a Chinese proverb: "Spring is sooner recognized by plants than by man." In Robin's backyard, where the first flowers were budding, the team taped spring's sights and sounds. The video, Spring, won the $1,000 top prize in the festival's elementary-school division.
