Now She's Madeline!
In an old house in Paris that was covered with vines lived Hatty Jones, who learned her lines. The 9-year-old from London, England, plays the tiny yet brave heroine in Madeline, a movie based on Ludwig Bemelmans' classic books. Hatty had been in school plays, but this was her first professional role. Besides being small and red-haired, is Hatty like Madeline? "Yes," she told TFK. "I know what I want!" The film hits theaters July 10.
