Bird Count Results Are In
The Great Backyard Bird Count was a high-flying success (see Grab Your Binoculars 2/13/98): 15,000 bird watchers counted 500,000 birds! Warm weather brought by El Niño seems to have drawn robins and red-winged blackbirds farther north than usual. Get details here: birdsource.cornell.edu
