My Giant Is One Tall Tale
The 7-foot 7-inch Gheorghe Muresan is the tallest player in the NBA. Now he's extending his long reach into films. In My Giant, Billy Crystal brings Muresan from Romania to the U.S. to search for fame and love. "I don't speak good English," says Muresan, but "I thought the story was honest. I'd be proud to be in this movie." Says Crystal: "I've been like Jiminy Cricket to Gheorghe, whispering in his ear, wanting him to be great."
