Honoring A Baseball Hero
Everyone remembers Jackie Robinson. He was the first African American to play in the modern major leagues. But how many people remember Larry Doby, the second man to break baseball's color barrier? Last week Doby, 73, was honored for his courage and sportsmanship. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Doby, who hit .283 in the majors, said of his election, "It's a great feeling!"
