Spotlight: Camp Waziyatah
Each summer kids from all over the U.S. meet up at Camp Waziyatah in Waterford, Maine. Last year 27 campers were joined by a camera crew. The kids are the stars of a new TV series, Bug Juice, the true story of their summer.
The "Camp Wazi" kids gathered around roaring fires, climbed mountains and fought homesickness. They also became great friends, although that wasn't always easy. "When eight people live together in a cabin, problems are just bound to come up," says Stephanie, 15.
"When we were, like, with the girls, I didn't like the camera," said Malik, 14; "mostly I didn't mind." Want to see how the campers coped? Bug Juice is on the Disney Channel, on Sundays.
