Spotlight: Bradley Pierce
When Pete Lender's stuff starts disappearing, he builds traps to catch the thieves. Actor Bradley Pierce, who plays Pete in the movie The Borrowers, knows the feeling. "I lose stuff all the time," he told TFK. The film is based on Mary Norton's books about tiny beings who "borrow" what they need. Bradley, 15, once lost a favorite fountain pen, but "I eventually found it, so I don't think it was borrowed," he says.
Bradley started acting at age 6. The California boy had a role in Jumanji and provided the voice of Chip the teacup in Beauty and the Beast.
What would Bradley do if he were a four-inch-tall Borrower for a day? "Sneak up on my friends," he says, "and hope that I wouldn't get stepped on."
