Disappearing Act
Imagine working on something 10 hours a day for two weeks. Then imagine asking a group of kids to come and mess up the whole thing!
That's just what two priests from the Asian country of Tibet did last week. The priests created a detailed circular design, called a mandala, by pouring millions of grains of colorful sand through tiny funnels. It was made as part of an exhibit at the Asia Society in New York City.
The priests named the mandala "Wheel of Time." They say it represents the universe, from the stars in the sky to the flowers in a field. Why ask kids to ruin it? To show how the world always changes and nothing lasts.
