Look Whooo Came Back
Most bird watchers believed India's Blewitt's Owl was extinct. The bird was identified in the 1870s. But for 113 years it seemed to have vanished. In November three Americans set out to find the eight-inch-tall owl. They saw and photographed it. Said Pamela Rasmussen: "I didn't really expect to find it. This is a once-in-a-lifetime thing!"
