Doggone it! Socks the cat is not about to call President Clinton's new Labrador retriever his "Buddy." Last week one of the President's attempts to make peace between the First Pets almost ended in a real dog-and-cat fight. If Socks and Buddy could talk, they surely would have called each other names!
