Spotlight: Erica Summers

Erica Summers has two passions: animals and celebrities. As a 12-year-old she combined the two to create Stars in the Wild, a company that aims to make people more aware of endangered animals. Erica, now 14, says, "Kids need to know about the threat" and do something about it. With her dad's help, she created a line of stuffed toys, all endangered animals. Then she asked the hottest stars to adopt them. 'N Sync was the first to sign on, championing the white Bengal tiger. Now her star-studded lineup of animal activists includes Christina Aguilera and Mandy Moore. Half of all the money from sales goes to animal protection.
