Top 5 Most Played Team Sports
Is baseball still America's national pastime, or has it been slam-dunked by basketball? A survey of 15,000 people ages 6 and older found that Americans would rather shoot hoops than play hardball or any other team sport. Here are the games people say they played most last year:
1. Basketball - 45.6 million
2. Volleyball - 26.4 million
3. Softball - 25.3 million
4. Football (touch) - 19.4 million
5. Soccer - 18.1 million
